About the Great hall

The Great Hall offers a splendid setting for your wedding reception, banquet or special gathering. The Great Hall was designed by William P. Hutchins in the tradition of Gothic architecture for the former St. Teresa of Avila Church. The building was constructed in 1934 of soft gray Indiana limestone with a slate roof. The building entrance features a magnificent seven foot rose window with six large petals and a center bud. A grand ceiling supported by columns and trusses is finished with purlins of Oregon pine. The ceiling was the only one of its kind in 1934 America. The Great Hall presents a feeling of grandeur yet preserves an intimate charm. We welcome the opportunity to host your special event.
